    Wellington boot testing is underway!

    0
By David Marlin on 12 April 2021 News

Here’s a snippet of David in the lab testing the wellington boots.  We can’t wait to find out if the wellies that were rated highly by the general public in DrDavidMarlin.com’s Wellie Survey ACTUALLY perform well in the laboratory?  Watch this space!

When we embarked on our wellington boot survey we assumed that we could just purchase some wellies and test them in a matter of weeks.  Well, how wrong were we? No one could have imagined how hard it has been to get some of the brands that we wanted in the sizes we needed to test.  We are still waiting on one pair of wellingtons to arrive but we are moving forward regardless!  We can’t blame the wellington companies for not having the sizes and stock that we needed – there has been a pandemic, and suppliers and stock have run low across many industries!

So we kick on into testing the wellingtons now and are really excited about this and can’t wait to give you the results.  Our aim is to save our members time and money – when keeping horses wellies are a staple piece of kit, so with the survey and lab results you can make an informed decision on your next purchase!

Our winners of the wellington boot giveaway (who will be kindly giving the wellingtons a loving home after testing so that the boots aren’t wasted) will be giving us their feedback too later in the year.
