Since the original compilation of the comparison charts and graphs in this webinar, some of which are now a few years old. Many of the product brands listed have either altered their formulations, changed the levels of ingredients (including active ingredients) or updated their feeding rates/doses. Therefore as Dr David Marlin clearly states in the webinar, when deciding on which supplement to choose for your horse please do your own research, and look closely at the information the supplement company supplies:
– Are there any clinical trials?
– How reliable and conclusive is their research?
– Is the company supplying all of the correct information, active ingredients listed and feeding information in the correct manner to make them compliant with current regulations?
– Is there enough active ingredients to make a difference to your size of horse/pony?
– Is the company affiliated with a reliable body or authority?
