Thank you vets campaign – vets recognised for care and passion during the Covid-19 pandemic

By Sarah O'Neill on 4 January 2021 News

The UK’s Prime Minister Boris Johnson announces another full lockdown with the message “Stay Home, Help the NHS and Save Lives “and we don’t think there could be a better time to join together as a community and support each other.  At DrDavidMarlin.com we have been keen to support our equestrian professionals during the pandemic; we appreciate what a difficult time this has been with many being self-employed and having to alter their ways of working to meet the restrictions.  We have been using our public Facebook page as a platform to promote “Support Local” and “Show Your Appreciation” and our followers have been fantastic, commenting and tagging the individuals and service providers they recommend.  We hope in some way this has given our professionals a boost and helped point business their way in this uncertain time.

Therefore we were thrilled to see that Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health has launched a campaign to recognise the care and passion equine vets have shown throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.  Boehringer have called this the “Thank You Vets campaign” and much like our Show Your Appreciation post, this has has been created for all horse owners to show their appreciation for the care equine vets and practices have delivered during the pandemic.  We encourage you to get behind this campaign and using the hashtag #thankuvets, you can post a simple thank you to your vet and practice teams!  Well done Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health – this is a great message!
