How happy is your horse? Take the survey

    0
By Helen Stock on 22 February 2022 News

We have an exciting webinar booked for Thursday 10th May with Dr Jo Hockenhull. The webinar will discuss if our horses are really happy and if we can tell.

Research to date has focused on recognising and assessing negative emotions in horses, for example, depression, pain and discomfort. Recently more attention is being given to understanding how to recognise happiness in our horses. This is great to see but research is very much still in the early days.

In this webinar, we will be exploring what research has been done on happiness in horses to date and discussing your thoughts and experiences – how you tell whether your horse is happy, and what makes them happy?

We are sharing this short survey to collect your views. We would like to explore your thoughts on this topic. The results will be discussed in a webinar on 10th March 2022. The survey takes about 5 minutes to complete and is completely anonymous!
