Aberystwyth will become the first Veterinary College in Wales from September

Aberystwyth University, which is based in Wales, is starting a joint veterinary degree in September with the Royal Veterinary College in England.  Unlike many veterinary colleges, where all the focus in on anatomy and clinical training, students at Aberystwyth University can look forward to enjoying art photography … well, that is the hope of the Head of Aberystwyth University School of Veterinary Science Dr. Darrell Abernethy.

Aberystwyth will become the first veterinary college in Wales when it opens next September – which is an exciting opportunity for students. The new degree offering is a joint effort of Aberystwyth University and the Royal Veterinary College in England.  Students will spend the first two years of the five-year degree at Aberystwyth and they will move to the RVC’s Hawkshead campus, north of London, for the final three years.

Here at David Marlin we welcome the news of increased training opportunities and we wish them the very best of luck!
