    David’s Christmas Cracker – WIN a day with David

    Meet him, greet him, make him tea and ask him anything you like in the comfort of your own yard!

    Members, this is your Christmas Cracker – EXCLUSIVE ONLY MEMBERS MAY ENTER!

    As a thank you for your continued support Dr Dave wants to support you right back! Simply write a Christmas wishes letter or record a video on your phone and send it to us stating why you’d like to meet, greet and share your tea and biscuits with Dr Dave!

    No specifications, all disciplines are welcome, and no area is off limits just tell us what you would like to ask, discuss and debate with Dr Dave.

    Maybe you are part of a club, a big yard or just home alone – for an entire day (and maybe also the evening if you feed him, (forage of course). He is all yours to brighten up the winter blues with a sprinkle of equine science!

    This is a members-only competition, so to be in with a chance to win, join the DrDavidMarlin.com website. Terms & Conditions Apply.

    Competition Details:

    • The competition opens on the 1st of December 2022 and will close at 11:59pm on the 30th of December 2022.
    • The winner will be announced in January 2023.
    • To enter, fill out the form below (which will become live on the 1st of December 2022) and submit your entry.
    • You must be over 18 to enter, but a responsible over-18 can enter on behalf of younger people, so if you run a Pony Club or Riding Centre, for example, and would like David to speak with the young riders.
    • No proof of purchase is required, but you must be a member of the DrDavidMarlin.com website for the months of December and January.
    • The Day With David will be filmed and documented for other members to watch and enjoy through the website, so by entering the competition, you are agreeing to be filmed, recorded and public documentation to take place at the location and with the recipients included.

      Location (Tell us the address and environment, are you on a livery yard, at your house, a riding centre or pony club)

      If you email, make sure to include; Name, email, phone and your location/address.

      The FULL Terms & Conditions for David’s Christmas Cracker:

      • The winner will be announced before the 31st of January, 2023.
      • To enter, fill out the form above and submit your entry.
      • You must be over 18 to enter, but a responsible over-18 can enter on behalf of younger people, so if you run a Pony Club or Riding Centre, for example, and would like David to speak with the young riders.
      • No proof of purchase is required, but you must be a member of the DrDavidMarlin.com website for the months of December and January.
      • Only ONE entry per member, but members can nominate for the same location, club, centre group etc
      • There is NO cash alternative to this prize, and it is NOT transferable to someone else.
      • The winner/s will receive their prize in 2023 when a time can be arranged that is mutually convenient for the winner and the DDM Team.
      • The Day With David will be filmed and documented for other members to watch and enjoy through the website, so by entering the competition, you are agreeing to be filmed, recorded and public documenting to take place at the location and with the recipients included.
      • The winner/s will be contacted by email or telephone in the month of January 2023, and you will have until the 10th of February 2023 to respond.
      • Winner/s will be decided by the DDM Team and professional colleagues for independent judging. This will be on the basis of creative questions, the reasons given and general interest to all members of DrDavidMarlin.com and information and relevance to subjects Dr David Marlin can help with.
      • Copyright to the entries will remain with the entrant, but the entrant licences Animal Web Ltd and DrDavidMarlin.com to use their photographs and videos to promote the brand across websites and social media.
      • We would like to announce the winner/s name and their club, group, centre etc, once they have been notified of their win. By entering this competition, you are agreeing to this announcement.
      • This competition is being run by Animal Web Ltd and DrDavidMarlin.

      David Marlin

      Dr David Marlin is a physiologist and biochemist who has worked in academia, research and professional sport. He has worked in the equestrian and veterinary world and in human sport, healthcare, medicine and exercise science. In 1989 David obtained his PhD from the UK’s leading sports university, Loughborough University following a four-year study on the responses of Thoroughbred racehorses to exercise and training, undertaken at the renowned Animal Health Trust in Newmarket.
