A NEW WEBSITE – WHAT WAS WRONG WITH THE OLD ONE?

Hopefully many of you have or will take a chance to look around this new site that I’ve put together. You might ask why? What was wrong with my old one? Well, one thing was it had limited functionality and wasn’t that easy to navigate. I post a lot on Facebook and love interacting with horse owners around the world. But Facebook has its limitations. It’s hard to structure things and it’s hard to make content easily accessible.  I also wanted to set up more of a community feel. And to be honest, I need a better way of managing my interaction – 40-50 Facebook messages a day and hundreds of comments on posts is a lot of work. I also want to be able to bring more and better content.

I have had a vision of a site that tests and reviews products and services for horse owners independently and in a way that magazines, due to their model being based on paid advertising, and many websites never can. That’s why there is a modest subscription. That subscription will allow me to purchase products, allow me to run tests, run polls, spend time researching and more.

The most important thing is that I can do this independently. And you can have a say in what is tested and how. What is reviewed and how. I have a great team behind me and two excellent team members in Dr Kirstie Pickles (Veterinary Medicine) and Dr Gillian Tabor (Physiotherapy).

So please get involved, check out the website, tell us what you want and most of all, enjoy.
